Well aware of the cost benefit of pipeline longevity (and the implications of replacement) Britannia Oil offers an extensive range of maintenance services for high and low pressure pipelines.
As part of our pipeline project management activities, our maintenance services combine preventative and corrective procedures – helping our clients keep ageing pipelines in fit-for-purpose condition.
Britannia Oil provides the following routine and emergency maintenance services:
Emergency response in case of pipeline rupture, leakage, etc.
Use of a broad range of pumps for flushing of pipelines (Selection of pumps (pressure and flow ranges) will depend on the scope of work)
Use of several kinds of pumps for cleaning of pipelines
Use several membrane pumps for inhibitor injection
(Chemicals can be used for removal of residue and/or rust)
The internal pipeline coating process will reduce the friction with the pipe wall, so higher flows can be achieved with less energy, even pumping facilities can be designed with lower capacity
Also the resistance for corrosion internally will dramatically be improved
This will help reducing the corrosion on the outside of the pipeline
By injecting an inert foam, blown with nitrogen, we can plug a part of a pipeline without degassing the whole Pipeline, so works can be performed safely
Either by using nitrogen, or by vaporising product (Ethane, Ethylene, Polypropylene etc.) until the line can be taken back into service again
Emptying of pipelines containing flammable liquids and or gasses by means of portable fully controllable flare systems
Technique for pipeline modifications where the pipeline is not taken out of production
This technique allows for the replacement of one stud at a time until all the studs have been replaced on a. This allows for the preventative maintenance of corroding studs and nuts while the line is in service
The procedure enables personnel to quickly remove and replace studs and nuts when removal is preferred or necessitated by specific projects
Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning is used to easily achieve an accurate and predetermined bolt loading in a single, simultaneous operation, providing the uniform gasket compression essential for the integrity of critically bolted connections such as pipeline flanges
